ARANCHA SALAMANCA
Daughter and granddaughter of actors, I grew up in and around the stage. As a child I would play the roles of little girl when spending summers visiting my grandparents as they travelled throughout Spain with their moving theatre from town to town. But I did not go into acting after all, I instead studied journalism and worked for the press for a few years, radio, television, until I discovered my true calling, script writing. My job is scripting promos and campaigns for NBC Universal Spain and AMC. I have received various awards, 2 Silver Promax and a Bronze sun.

I wrote for the documentary film “Madre”, directed by Mabel Lozano and was part of the Mccann Erikson documentary “La leyenda del Acciona 100% Ecopowered”, also directing. I develop content for exhibits and museums, such as the “Oceans World Exhibition”, the “Museum of Moroccan Civilization” or “Museo del Peregrino” in Santiago de Compostela.Scripted various commercial videos, institutional and corporate for different companies, i.e.: Navantia, Schweppes or Vocento. Scripted the short film “15 Days”, being finalist at the “IV ENCUENTRO PRODUCCIÓN GUIÓN DE LA COMUNIDAD DE MADRID” and also written for various fictions on television.
Directed the Micro theatre piece “Balconing”. Directed the Micro theatre piece “Balconing”.“The day my grandmother met Bruce Willis” has just begun it´s showing in festivals worldwide.
I am presently working on finishing a science fiction and adventure film… and promoting this short film about my beloved grandmother.
